I’m 100% dedicated and committed to producing a steady stream of paintings which create an emotional impact. I love to paint outdoors, as well as in my studio. What I find inspiring about plein-air painting is that it is an adventure. I feel that being actively immersed in nature is what contributes to offering a soulful impression of her many moods. I teach and lecture on the art of impressionism. The rest of my time is used painting the awesome western landscapes of New Mexico, Arizona and the Gulf Coast of Florida. I am mostly self-taught, however; I did attend Newark School of Fine & Industrial Art & The School of Visual Arts in New York City. My art activity was interfered with and nearly stopped several years ago while I attended to my wife who was seriously ill for 7 years. After she had passed on, the only way for me to get back in the game of living was to dedicate myself completely to painting and helping others experience the exhilaration of creating art.
