"Sandpipers At Sunset"

I painted a small 5 x 7 inch study of this a few months ago, and today I finished this larger version. Here on Florida's Gulf Coast it's common for people to gather and watch a sunset.....a ceremony that possibly started with Sandpipers?

Fantastic. It really appears like the sandpipers are just there for the sunset, and the sandpiper on the left is watching the others enjoy the scene.
